THE CONTEST

A clash both players choose.

Invite a nearby player with F7. Both players agree, prepare for 3.5 seconds, then repeatedly press and release E to push the clash towards the opponent. The server scores the contest; the loser takes damage without being killed.

ท้าดวลด้วย F7 · ทั้งสองฝ่ายต้องยอมรับ · กด E ซ้ำ ๆ เพื่อดันพลัง · Esc เพื่อยกเลิก

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

The lighter edition.

  • Two-player invitations, server scoring and spectator UI
  • Simple red/green beams with wand-tip glow
  • References to the game’s WandLink animations and sound
  • Cancellation, cooldowns and disconnect recovery

Lite is a source-code starting point: developers may modify and extend it for their own servers under the included license, with creator attribution. Its default beams are rendered on screen. To use actual in-game VFX, you need a separate compatible native bridge mod installed on every participating client, plus code to connect it to the clash. That bridge and our full cinematic effects are not included in this download.

BEFORE INSTALLING

For multiplayer servers.

This is a HogwartsMP server resource, not a single-player mod. Both players need a legally owned Hogwarts Legacy installation and compatible HogwartsMP clients. HogwartsMP and game assets are obtained separately.

  1. Back up your server.
  2. Extract aethermere-clash into its resources directory and enable it in your server configuration.
  3. Restart your test server and reconnect both clients.
  4. Read README.txt for character-framework integration and testing.

BETA NOTES

Know the current limits.

The public Lite edition has passed simulated server/client checks; its separate two-computer in-game test is still pending. Screen-rendered beams can appear through scenery, and animation transitions still use hard switches. Test on a private server first.
